2023.8.20 Torinuma Park - A pristine wetland remaining in the city -

While searching for interesting places on a map, I came across a park with the charming name of Torinuma Park.

The photos posted also look good.

There was some sign of a wetland so we decided to check it out.

I was surprised at how large the parking lot was for an ordinary park.

First, we decided to explore the area near the parking lot.

As soon as you go inside, you'll see a map!

It is said to be a place that exudes the original scenery of Furano.

This area has a swampy atmosphere.

I imagine it will get quite muddy when the snow melts.

It's not the season for any notable flowers in bloom, but if you like wetlands, just strolling around is enjoyable.

It's so humid...

Unless you're a fan of marshes, it's probably best not to go exploring during this time of year.

After exploring the wetland trail, we head towards the park.

This is an ordinary park.

There was a pond.

The surface of the pond is covered with a thin layer of mist, giving it a nice atmosphere.

It seems that you can take a boat tour of this pond.

The pond has a nice atmosphere and you might be able to take some great photos in winter.

There were quite a few insects to see.

There was no sign of any plants or animals here either, but for some reason there was a dead rhinoceros beetle.

Perhaps they gather around street lights at night.

There wasn't much to see at this time of year, but it would be best to visit in early spring for the flowers, or in winter for the scenery.

I am envious that there is such a beautiful wetland near a large city like Furano.
