You can drive almost all the way to the summit and see the crater lake without any trouble.
The crater lake offers great views, and the stunning scenery isn't limited to just the crater lake.

Summit

The summit of Mount Karita is located at Karita-mine Shrine.
Even when photographed from below, it has a unique and beautiful atmosphere.

It's interesting to walk around and look at things from different angles.

You can see this scenery even in the parking lot.

Dicentra peregrina. Best time to see them is from late July to early August.

Points to note

You can drive almost all the way to the summit, but the terrain is rough and rocky, so it's best to avoid wearing sandals or similar footwear.
I think you can definitely enjoy it if you're wearing sneakers.
