Mount Kinpu in Yamanashi Prefecture is a very beautiful mountain with excellent views.
The scenery, especially when you reach the ridgeline, is absolutely stunning.
Apparently, they offer courses lasting around 3-4 hours during the summer, which I think makes it one of the best value-for-money options available.

Summit
At the summit, there is a massive granite rock called Gojo-iwa.
It's a strange landscape, as if a giant had built it with building blocks.
It's very spacious, so you can relax there.

landscape
Above the ridgeline, the views are excellent, and on a clear day, you can enjoy a magnificent landscape.

The nearest of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains is Mt. Mizugaki.

The path leading to the mountaintop.
It looks as if it's moving towards the heavens.

Points to note
Because it is a warm region with relatively little snowfall, there may be no snow even in December.
However, you should be prepared with equipment that is suitable for snowy conditions.
