2022.1.16 Kameyachi Marsh - a small marsh in Kitaibaraki

Last timeExploring the Sasshio MarshAfter that, I found out that there were marshes in the Iwaki area, so I decided to explore the marshes there.

First up, we visited Kameyachi Marsh in Kitaibaraki for the first time!

There seems to be a trail course too.

▼There was a little snow piled up, but we were able to proceed without any problems.

▼According to the sign, this is quite a fertile marsh.

I would love to meet a Japanese black salamander!

The skunk cabbage appears to be a cultivated species.

This is the introduction of an alien species...

There is a stream and water seems to be plentiful.

▼It is believed that skunk cabbage will bloom here.

▼Finally, I checked out the rest area.

summary

I couldn't tell from the winter atmosphere, but the environment seems surprisingly nice.

It seems that plants and animals such as Japanese black salamanders have been spotted here, so this is a marsh that I'd like to visit in different seasons.
