2021.7.23 Fuyushi Marsh - Unknown Marsh -

I went to Fuyushi Marsh in Akita Prefecture.

The grass was overgrown and it was difficult to see the details.

Anyway, the flies were amazing.

▼A sign suddenly appears.

We enter a road that looks like a farm road.

▼After driving on the dirt road for a while, a large reservoir will come into view.

▼There is a monument.

▼On the way, I found what looked like a road and turned onto it, but the grass was overgrown and I wasn't sure if there was real ground, so I gave up on going.

So, my exploration was limited to checking the area with lots of low grass around the pond.

▼You can't tell from the photo, but there are loads of horseflies.

▼There is an observation deck near the pond from which you can look out over the surrounding area.

Is this a marsh-like place?

Next time, I'd like to come back when I know the terrain better and explore it.
