▼There is a walking trail around the marshland, and a boardwalk inside.

Because of the tall plants and the wide boardwalk, it gives the impression of a maze.

▼You can enjoy scenery that cannot be seen in other wetlands, such as the arch of the Japanese laurel tree.

▼Karahanami Marsh is a marsh formed by the accumulation of rainwater and melting snow.

A unique feature of this marsh is that there are no rivers nearby, as the water seeps underground.

Recommended for those new to moss.

Marshland Information Summary

summary

There are many relatively tall trees, giving it an atmosphere that is not typical of a marsh.

There are few people here, so you can enjoy a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

From mid-October to late November, the branches of the Japanese laurel tree are covered with berries that paint the tree red.

It's a sight I'd love to see.
