▼Head towards the Hyakutaku trailhead.
There is a sign at the entrance.

Turn left and enter a narrow road.

▼We climb 13km straight up a rough, bumpy road.

▼The road was rough, with overgrown grass and parts of the road having collapsed.

▼We somehow managed to arrive at the parking lot!

▼Get ready and take action!

▼As we walked along under the scorching sun, we saw a hut of some sort.

▼It seems there are toilets too.

▼This is also the trailhead for Mt. Chokai, but the route here looks quite difficult.

▼There is a rest area, but it's too hot to rest there.

▼As the name suggests, the spring water is amazing even in the middle of summer!
It's ice cold!

▼It seems to be used as a campsite as well.

▼There is also a wooden rest area.
There were a lot of cockroaches in the cave, so if you hate bugs, be careful.Cockroach wiki)

▼From the ground, you can't see much of the marshland.
You can see it from the second floor of the hut mentioned earlier.

▼It looks a bit difficult even if you change the angle.

▼If you go a little further, the water will increase.
It's certainly understandable why there are marshes here.

▼It looks like a river.
This amount of water in midsummer is amazing.

▼This road is supposed to be a hiking trail to Mt. Chokai, but it looks like it's quite long.
Another mountain?

▼It was hard to see the marsh, so we used a drone to take photos from the air.

▼Looking at it this way, there is a lot of water.

▼If you look closely, you'll see that the water is crystal clear.

▼There are small yellow flowers blooming, but I can't zoom in so I can't tell what they are.

▼Finally, an overhead view.
It's not a very big marsh.

Overview of Marshland Information

summary
Not only is it a difficult 13km journey over rough roads, but the marshland can only be viewed from the second floor of the rest area or by using a drone.
The careful preparations I made up until the drone application paid off, and it became a fond memory.
However, this is a marshland that is difficult to recommend to anyone other than those who absolutely want to see it.
