▼Park your car in the parking lot, go to the toilet, and then set off.

▼After leaving the parking lot, we headed to the right and found the observation area.
There is a sign so you can tell it's the entrance.

▼Let's start exploring the marsh right away.

▼As we went down the stairs to the observation area, we came across a wetland or shallow water-like terrain.
At first glance, it looks like a highland marsh, but since it is adjacent to Lake Kasumigaura, it seems to have an abundant amount of water.

▼I immediately found a thrush.

▼On the way, we spotted a bird singing in the marsh.
I think it's a shrike.

▼There are two types of plank paths: one that runs through the inside of the marsh and one that runs around the perimeter.

▼Since I was there, I decided to take a route that goes through the inside.

▼I also found a thrush.

▼There is a pond.
Or is it just a pond?

▼We have arrived at the bird watching hut.

▼I took photos of birds of prey with some birdwatchers.
Because it is farther away than other creatures, it will likely take some practice before you can take a good photo.

▼Although it's out of focus, we managed to capture the scene of the fish being transported!

▼Greater reed warbler?

▼ Osprey taking a rest

Overview of Marshland Information

summary
In winter, there are few living creatures in the marshes, so exploration tends to be the main focus, but here I also enjoyed bird watching.
Not only birds of prey but also a variety of wild birds fly around, making this a recommended spot for photography.
Why not take a stroll around the area with a camera or binoculars in hand?
