Kintokiyama is a mountain located on the border between Shizuoka and Kanagawa prefectures.
It is said that Kintaro, also known as Sakata Kintoki, spent his childhood here, and various legends remain about it.
Mt. Kintoki has an elevation of 1,212 m, and Mt. Myojingatake has an elevation of 1,169 m.
Both are low in altitude but offer beautiful views.

About the Mountain
About the route
Kintoki Golf Driving Range Parking Lot → Kintoki Shrine → Mt. Kintoki → Yagurasawa Pass → Mt. Hiuchiishi → Mt. Myojingatake → Return by the same route
This route was not so great as it required going back and forth through a long bamboo forest.
The route starting from Myojin-ga-take and heading towards Kintoki-san is efficient and will give you beautiful views.
Equipment
In the snow-free season, there are no particular requirements.
I recommend wearing gaiters to keep your pants from getting dirty.
There are few mountain huts between Mt. Kintoki and Mt. Myojin-ga-take, so it is a good idea to bring plenty of food and water.
Physical strength and skills
It's a long journey and there are steep slopes, so it requires a lot of physical strength.
No special skills are required.
