2020.2.8 石割山・平尾山 残雪期-富士山を一望できる山-

This is a mountain in Shizuoka Prefecture from which you can see Mount Fuji.

Ishiwariyama is 1,412 m and Hiraoyama is 1,155 m.

The charm of the mountains

scenery

The summit, where you can see a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji, can only be described as the best.

▼Ishiwariyama Peak
Mount Fuji covered in snow is so cool.

We were lucky there wasn't a single cloud!

Interesting Spots

If you are approaching from Ishiwari Shrine, once you pass through the torii gate at the trailhead you will come across a stone staircase with no visible end.

It has a whopping 403 steps, so be prepared.

There are places to rest along the way.

For me personally, this was the hardest part.

▼Ishiwari Shrine is a shrine whose main deity is Ame-no-Tajikarao.

▼As the name suggests, there is a large cracked rock, and it is said that if you pass between the rocks in a clockwise direction three times, you will be blessed with good luck.

Seasonal Attractions

From autumn to winter, you can see Mount Fuji covered in snow.

Great view!
