The course time is short, but you will have to climb large steps, so it will be very physically demanding.
Also, since it is surrounded by rock walls and is hot, it is a good idea to bring plenty of drinks.
Recommended ways to get there
The circular route involves a longer walk, so it is easier to do the round trip from Mizugaki Sanso.
I think the circular route is interesting because you can walk different paths on the way there and back.

How to get to the trailhead
・From Odakyu Shin-Matsuda Station to the Fujikyu Shonan Bus trailhead at Nishi Tanzawa Visitor Center (Nature School), take the bus for about 1 hour and 10 minutes
・About 40 minutes from Oi Matsuda IC on the Tomei Expressway
public transport
Get off at Shin-Matsuda Station on the Odakyu Odawara Line, then take the Fujikyu Shonan Bus bound for Nishi-Tanzawa Nature School, which takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Get off at the last stop, the Nishi-Tanzawa Visitor Center.
The round trip fare is 2,120 yen and can be purchased at Shin-Matsuda Station.
The trailhead for Hinokihoramaru is about a 10-minute walk from the bus terminus.
car
Exit the Tomei Expressway at Oi Matsuda IC and follow National Route 255 towards Yamakita and Hadano.
You will soon reach the Kagoba Interchange intersection, where you should get on National Route 246 towards Numazu and Gotemba.
Continue along the road, turn onto Prefectural Route 76 at Shimizubashi intersection, and head towards Lake Tanzawa.
