2022.2.27 Negawa Wetland - an artificial wetland that can be easily enjoyed -

I went to the Negawa Wetlands in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

There were multiple wetlands to enjoy in a well-maintained park-like environment.

▼The parking lot is also spacious.

▼We head straight to the wetlands.

▼There is a boardwalk that allows you to see into the wetlands.

▼There is a lot of water, so you might be able to see tadpoles and other creatures in the spring.

▼There are streams and the terrain is diverse.

Spring has already arrived around here.

▼Due to its deterioration, you cannot enter here.

▼It appears that the Negawa Wetland is an artificially created wetland.

Having such a large wetland seems like it would be very beneficial for living things.

Apparently you can observe Japanese brown frogs and Schlegel's green tree frogs.

It's a good environment.

This is certainly a good initiative.

The boardwalk allows you to walk and explore the surrounding area.

I looked for eggs but couldn't find any.

Maybe it's too early.

Come to think of it, I've never seen a wild loach!

summary

As it is a model area for Satoyama environmental conservation, it was an easy place to observe wildlife.

If you come at night, you might even see frogs!
