2022.2.26 Tenpaku Wetland - A small wetland in the city -

I went to Tenpaku Wetland in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture.

▼It is located next to Tenpakusan Shrine.

▼The area surrounded by the blue fence is the wetland.

▼It looks like conservation efforts are being carried out!

▼It's small in scale.

▼There is a surprising amount of water.

▼The boardwalk was quite narrow, so we had to walk carefully.

▼If there are plants blooming around here, it would be easy to observe them.

Although it is small and has nothing particularly noteworthy to see, it plays an important role as a habitat for white starweed, egret flowers, and red-veined dragonflies.

I think it's wonderful that habitats for these kinds of creatures are being maintained here and there throughout the city.
