2023.8.19 Shirokane Blue Pond - A popular tourist spot where you can experience a fantastic atmosphere -

I discovered it by chance on Google Maps and thought it might be some sort of wetland, so I decided to visit.

However, when I got there, it seemed to be a fairly well-known tourist spot and there were a lot of people there.

The parking lot was quite crowded and there were a lot of people around the pond.

There were quite a few people from China, probably thanks to the relaxation of Chinese restrictions on group travel to Japan.

Rather, most of the voices I heard were in Chinese, which felt strange.

There is a walking path around the pond that you can walk on.

It's Saturday, so it's packed with people.

Even though it was crowded, it was easy to take photos.

The birch trees submerged in the pond create a mystical atmosphere.

In summer, the trees on the walking path are covered in leaves, so if you try to take a photo of just the pond like this, your angles are limited.

I feel like you can take more atmospheric photos in winter when the grass has fallen.

The colour changes depending on the time of day as the sunlight shines through it.

No living creatures were found.

This may be due to the large number of people, but it may also be due to the nature of the water flowing into the pond.
