▼Park your car in the parking lot and start.
I forgot to take a photo, but the parking lot is relatively large and can accommodate about 5-7 cars.

▼A rough map.

▼This is the entrance to Mt. Taihei, but it is also the entrance to the marshland.

▼After going a little further, the path splits into two directions: towards the marshland and towards Mt. Taihei.

▼We descend towards the marshland.

▼After walking a little, the path becomes paved with boardwalks.
It's starting to look like a marsh.

▼It seems they were just reconstructing the boardwalk at that time.
There are brand new boardwalks lined up.

▼There is an abundance of water.

▼The boardwalk that goes through the forest area is nice.

▼Once you leave the forest area, the road gradually widens.

▼In addition to the main stream, there is water here and there.
It's no wonder there are so many frogs.

▼The main marsh area

▼There are benches, but it was too hot to use them.

▼The view of the marsh from the bench looks like this.

▼Mustard frog

▼Probably a baby toad
Small and cute.

▼ Red dragonfly (species unknown)

Overview of Marshland Information

summary
Although it was outside of flower season, we were able to encounter some summer-like creatures.
It was a beautiful marsh, so I would like to visit again during flower season.
I was lucky to see the work being done to build a new boardwalk, something that is rarely seen!
Hats off to the people who have restored the boardwalk and made it possible for visitors to view it.
For those who want to know more about the marshland
▼ Nakamura Marsh is nearby so I recommend it!
