What is Sekai Yachi?

Sekai Yachi is a marshland that spreads out at the foot of Mount Kurikoma.

The word "Sekai" in the name means that it is vast.

As its name suggests, it is a very large marshland, about the size of three Tokyo Domes.

It consists of two valleys, the first and second, and the marsh is surrounded by primeval beech forest, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a stroll.

We walk through primeval beech forest and then on to the marshland.

Many tourists visit the large colonies of Hemerocallis day lilies that bloom in late June.
