This is a marshland located in the mountains of Mt. Mitsuishi in Iwate Prefecture.
During the autumn foliage season, the mountain becomes bustling with hikers.

Equipment, stamina, and skills
▼To reach Mitsuishi Marsh, you will need standard mountaineering equipment and tools.
Since the temperature is easily affected by the weather, you will also need cold weather gear.
It takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes to reach the marsh, plus 50 minutes to reach the summit.
▼There are some rocky areas on the way to the summit.
▼The path to the marsh is not in very good condition, so hiking boots are recommended.
▼The marshland is paved with boardwalks.
