It seemed suspicious when the large parking lot hadn't been cleared of snow, but it's a shame!

There also appear to be wetlands around Mt. Tamoyachi, Yachi Onsen, and Suiren Numa.

Unfortunately it was closed for the winter, but we managed to discover some marshes in the area and are looking forward to returning.

When touring the marshes, access may be restricted for a variety of reasons.

I think this is also one of the joys of exploring the marshes.
