I went to Oawara Marsh in Nagano Prefecture.
There are restrictions on private cars from 8:00-15:00, so we arrived early in the morning and finished exploring early.

▼Park your car in the parking lot and start.

▼As we walked along the boardwalk, we came across a mysteriously large space.
It's probably a rest area, but why is it so large?

▼Oawara Marsh is located south of Mount Nyukasa. It is 1,810 meters above sea level and is surrounded by mountains.

▼It is apparently an old dry marsh that is gradually drying out.
Tall trees are also prominent within the marshland.

▼There is abundant spring water, so rivers can be seen everywhere.
Looking at this alone, it seems like a lie that the land is becoming drier.

▼Wild sundews grow here.
Carnivorous plants tend to grow in places where the soil is low in nutrients.

▼The baby pine trees are sprouting.
Is this also because the air is drying out?

summary
Although it is difficult to access, it is a beautiful marshland that forms a unique environment.
The weather wasn't so good that day, so I'd like to go on a sunny day.
