Tanigawadake is a mountain with two peaks.
Okinomimi, located in the back, is at a higher altitude.
The distance between the two is not that far so I recommend doing both!

Mountain knowledge
environment
▼The ridgeline continues for a long time.
On windy days, it will be cold.

Let's go to the mountains!
About the route
Doaiguchi Station → Tenjindaira Station → Kata no koya → Tomano mimi → Okino mimi → Kata no koya → Tenjindaira Station → Doaiguchi Station
Equipment, stamina, and skills
▼To be honest, I think you could get there with light crampons, but there are a lot of people there on weekends, so if you fall or slip you could get caught up in something.
There are many places where the ground has been walked on by many people and is hard-packed, so I recommend bringing at least light crampons.

▼A large number of people visit, so except for the first ones who arrive after the snowfall, you can probably assume that there will be traces of it.
Since there is a line of climbers, it seems unlikely that you will get lost.
The slope is steep, but the total activity time is short, so you don't need to be very physically fit to hike.
