中村湿原に行ってみよう!

This is a marshland located in Mamurogawa Town in northern Yamagata Prefecture.

A variety of creatures live here, including the red-tailed dragonfly.

It takes about 15 minutes to explore just the first marsh, but about an hour to explore the whole area.

There is parking space for about two cars.

About 40 minutes from Shinjo IC

Just before Nakamura Marsh the road turns into an unpaved one.

The road is steep and narrow, so it may be difficult for some vehicles to enter.

You can also enter from the farm road.
