いもり池に行ってみよう!

Imori Pond is a large artificial pond located in Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture.

There are wetlands surrounding the pond, which are home to a variety of plants and animals.

You can enjoy skunk cabbage and Japanese quince in spring, and autumn leaves in autumn.

Equipment, stamina, and skills

▼The course is about 500m in circumference and can be viewed in about 15 to 30 minutes.

The paths are well maintained and you can walk along them as if it were a leisurely stroll.

The park is barrier-free, so even those in wheelchairs can get around.

By car: About 5 minutes from Myoko-Kogen IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway

Public transportation: Echigo Tokimeki Railway or Shinano Railway, get off at Myoko Kogen Station.

About 10 minutes by taxi, or about 10 minutes by bus from the Imoriike entrance stop.
