When I was looking for a marshland close to Toyohashi City, Yanami Marsh and Kamitaka Marsh came up in my search.

It looked like a nice marsh, so I went there, but unfortunately I couldn't enter!

A quick search revealed thatApparently it's not open to the public.

I had no choice but to take a photo as a souvenir of my visit and then give up.

Yanami Wetland, Kamitaka Wetland, and Onshinji Wetland are registered under the Ramsar Convention as part of the Tokai Hills Spring-fed Wetlands Group.

The Ramsar Convention is an international treaty on the conservation of wetlands, and 52 wetlands are registered in Japan.
